FORT WASHINGTON DAY CAMP

ABOUT US

FORT WASHINGTON DAY CAMP - (Our Areas Only All Boy’s Camp) -  is a small, private camp, with enrollment strictly limited to 100 campers.  We are not just “another” day camp.  We are an “Action” camp and a “Fun” camp, combining and balancing Traditional Camping Activities typically found at an over night camp, with a Strong, Non-competitive Sports Program.  We teach the fundamentals and skills in every activity while, at the same time, instilling in each boy the Traditional values associated with Camping; a Spirit of Fair Play, of Honesty and of Sportsmanship.  Our Red Cross Instructional Swim Program places an emphasis on learning to swim and being able to take care of ones self in the water.

We believe that every camper should be an active participant in every camp activity.  With encouragement, understanding help and praise he will improve his old skills, acquire new skills and increase both his Self esteem and Self Confidence through his Achievements.

Limited enrollment, and a staff of dedicated, caring counselors, provides the opportunity for each camper to develop and grow both emotionally and socially.  Our small size also allows each camper a flexibility and choice in program scheduling unattainable at larger camps.  Our Camper-Counselor ratio is about 3 to 1, allowing each boy to receive the personal instruction and attention needed to make his camping experience a special one; a Memory of Fun, of Learning and of Lasting Friendships.

WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES AVAILABLE FOR NEW CAMPERS.
